May 12, 2010 - The May meeting was called to order by
president Earl Hubers.
-
- The treasure report was read by Paul
Kubal and was accepted.
-
- The secretary’s report was read by
Pam Brooks and was accepted.
-
- Old Business:
- There was a good turn out for the
Senior High School on May 7th. They let everyone part
their car inside the building as it was raining. The students asked
questions and even the teachers got involved. Everyone had a great
time. Maybe in the future the club may sponsor some of the school
needs, such as tools.
- On the day of the car show, people that
would like to help may come between 6:30 and 7:00am to help set up.
On Friday the 21st, any one that wants to help clean the
shelter at the eagles may come between 4:30 – 6:00. Also we would
like to keep the money separate from each stand. The food, sales and
registration.
- The checking account is still not
settled. We need to check into it. We either have to get a EIN number
or someone s.s. number. For now will use counter checks. This is
tabled until next month.
-
- New Business:
- The news letter will be e-mail to those
that have e-mail address and mailed to those that do not. It will
save the club money.
- On June 25th Medford is
having a pre 4th of July parade. It starts at 7:00pm. For
non-profit , there is no charge. Contact Troy Greenslade.
-
- If any one would like to reimbursed for
any charges that they incurred for the car club. Please have a
receipt to turn in to Paul.
- We will see if any one is interested in
having meeting at people’s homes, shops or park. We will table this
until next meeting.
-
- Brian Wilson is thinking about making a
calendar for the car club. This is tabled until next meeting.
-
- The next meeting is June 9th
at the moose lodge at 8:00pm. Hope to see everyone at the car show.
-
- Thanks to all for helping Respectfully
Summitted Pam Brooks
